So, it turns out goodreads has become a huge, wonderful staple on my journey as an author. It is such an amazing resource filled with people that love to read and are eager to become a fan. Getting closer to release!

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted an update, but rest assured that this blog is going to be much more active from here on out. ;-)

Black Moon is going to be released this November! That is only a month away. I am thrilled and excited and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit nervous too. =P But mostly I'm like a kid in a candy store: I can't decide what I want most! LOL! The release, to hear what others think, or to just get the first copy in my hands so I can smell it's pages and cheese from ear to ear because it's MY book that I'm smelling. LOL!

First Draft Cover Art!

My cover artist sent me the first two drafts for the cover of Black Moon today! It is very exciting to see my novel brought to life. Gives me a feeling that I can't quite put into words. I chose one of these and sent it back with a couple of small changes. Can't wait to see the final product!

A Few Updates!

I just received the revised, edited version of my novel back from my editor! Now its my turn to go through the advised changes from beginning to end and accept or reject them. I am a little bit nervous, but very excited. It's very cool to see progress being made and I am enjoying working with  my publisher to make Black Moon as perfect as can be for it's October release!

As for Book #2: I had a few setbacks in December, but I am back to work now. Hopefully, I will have a First Draft by mid Feb.! I was aiming for end of Jan., but with the editing of Black Moon now in my lap, I will have to divide my time so that I can have Black Moon back to my publisher by deadline.

Thank you to everyone who has asked how things are going and held an avid interest in my journey. I will continue to update as things happen!
